Director / Producer / Editor

Bill Gallagher is the director and producer of the award winning documentary RUNNER which has won ten awards at festivals around the world. He was the line producer for the Academy Award−nominated documentary IF A TREE FALLS (Sundance), and Production Manager on the documentary RACING DREAMS (Tribeca - Best Documentary). Both films were in theaters and broadcast on BBC and PBS. Originally from outside of Boston in the United States, he is now living in Madrid, Spain. He studied Documentary Media at The New School and has lectured on documentary production at the University of Navarra in Spain. RUNNER is his first film as director.

Editor

Eric Daniel Metzgar is an Emmy Award winning documentary filmmaker.  He has directed three critically-acclaimed feature documentaries -- Reporter (Sundance, 2009; Emmy nominee, 2011; HBO; Cinema for Peace - International Film Award), Life. Support. Music. (POV, 2009), and The Chances of the World Changing (Independent Spirit Award nominee, 2006; POV, 2007) -- and one experimental narrative feature, For the Coyotes.

Metzgar recently edited and produced Crime + Punishment (2019 Oscar Shortlist; Sundance 2018, Special Jury Award; 2019 Emmy Award Winner; IDA Courage Under Fire Award). He edited Almost Sunrise (Emmy nominee, 2019; POV 2018), and Give Up Tomorrow (Emmy nominee, 2013; POV 2012). And he consults: Thank You For Playing (Emmy winner, 2017; POV 2016), High Tech, Low Life (POV, 2013), and The Surrender (Emmy nominee, 2016; Field of Vision). 

His work has been broadcast on HBO and PBS and screened at the Sundance Film Festival and other major festivals. He has received multiple Sundance grants and is a Sundance Documentary Lab Fellow.

Metzgar lives and works in San Francisco, California, with his wife and two children. He is a Buddhist practitioner and volunteers as a meditation teacher in prison.

Cinematographers

Nikki Bramley is a cinematographer based in Boston. Her work ranges from independent documentaries to high-end commercial projects. Previous camera credits include: Frontline (2015), Runaway Chef; Thailand (PBS 2010), Give Me the Banjo (PBS 2011), and various Discovery ID programs (2013), as well as additional camera work on NOVA "The Great Math Mystery"(2015), and “Finding Your Roots.”Nikki was an associate producer on A Life Among Whales (PBS, Discovery), and edited the short documentary Only One Boss (festivals).

Peter Louis is a freelance video and photojournalist based in Juba, South Sudan, and works for numerous media outlets like Aljazeera Media Network, AFP, Sky News, Al-Arabia and Ebony TV. Peter has over 16 years of experience in video photojournalism, especially camerawork and has trained dozens of young camera-operators across the country –has “a strong passion for youth empowerment”. Peter was the former WFP South Sudan Communication officer. He holds a Degree of Development Communication and Diploma, Public Relations from the University of Juba. Peter work as a consultant for various UN Agencies and International NGOs in South Sudan.

Jacob Benjamin Ateny is an accomplished television and video producer, director, camera operator, and editor with more than 15 years of experience based in Juba, South Sudan.  His clients include United Nation MISSION in South Sudan, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, South Sudan Broadcasting corporation, and Agenda Media.

Eduardo Aram is a Brazillian film composer and electronic music artist based in Los Angeles. He began studying music at the age of 9. As a Multi-instrumentalist and electronic programmer, Eduardo has worked with numerous collaborators in the last decade. In 1999 Eduardo started producing music in his studio dividing his time between producing and DJing. As a producer he fast became a well respected professional, working in United States, England, Mexico and Brazil. He has composed music for the for several projects including the series EL CHAPO  and the docuseries THE DEVIL NEXT DOOR as well as contribed music to projects suc as the   documentary  AMY and the film McFarland USA. In 2016 Eduardo was part of  the team to compose some of the theme music for the 2016 Olympic Opening Ceremony as well as the 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony.
